SUCCESS STORY 001: 30.11.19
One of our Special Members (i.e. those who opted to fill our online questionnaire to obtain our feedback on how to manage diabetes or weight loss) had been getting hyperglycemic readings. As a result, her kidney got infected and was treated. She had already lost her mum and sister because of diabetes.
She received our feedback on 24th November 2019 and she pledged to abide by our recommendations in her diet and lifestyle. Just 3 days later, on the 27th of November, she informed me that she just measured her blood glucose and got 18.1 mmol/L. I still encouraged her to continue with her new diet. 3 days later, i.e. on the 30th of November, she informed me that she just measured her blood glucose and all praise is due to the Almighty, she got 8.1 mmol/L i.e. exactly 6 days after receiving our feedback (24 – 30). She confessed to me that ever since she was diagnosed with diabetes, she had never recorded any value as low as 8.1 mmol/L which implies that she had always been within the hyperglycemic region. Thanks to our feedback and her determination to follow it to the latter

“For the first time since 17th August, 2017, I spent the last eleven days managing diabetes (2) with only diet and exercise with excellent result. On the morrow I’ll present the trend of my sugar levels on daily basis to forum. Thank you Dr. for that message which gave me courage to embark on this journey towards deliverance. Thank you all for your assistance.”
“Salam, here 👆is the outcome of an attempt to monitor diabetes type 2 based on some of the recommendations I received for this forum. Thanks.”

“Salamu alaikum,
A close relative of mine had her sugar levels at 7.5 on Saturday so my brother and I who are on this platform advised her to change her diet and continue her regular exercise for seven days. She has been so anxious that she could not wait for the seven days before she took another test today and Alhamdulilah she is now 6.3 which is evidence that it is going down. Yes she is now maintaining a FBS sugar level of 5.”
SUCCESS STORY 005: 24.12.19
Another success story from my humble self.
Remember 1 month ago when I presented my meal timetable which I have been using for about 3 months now. In addition, remember my HbA1c test result (5.8 %, done in January 2019) which I mentioned in my story on how I fought diabetes to a standstill in just 15 months. I repeated the same test in December 2019 and the result is 5.6 % (Hospital’s internal reference normal range: 4.5 – 6.2). I lost some weight also. It shows that this diet has proved very effective in reducing my already normal blood sugar level. If you want to know more about HbA1c, read an excerpt from what I wrote about it in my story.

Read how our recommendations to one of the Special Members who is obese and whose goal is to lose weight saved him N20,000 monthly on medications alone.
“Assalamu alaykum,ma sha Allah for this single but noble contribution. Before I started dieting, I have been suffering from bloating of the stomach almost on daily basis as well as food regurgitation, but alhamdulillah, I have stopped taking my gestid and pariet tablets which used to cause me about 10k every 2 weeks.”
SUCCESS STORY 007: 03.01.2020
This is also coming from one of our Special Members who received feedback from me on December 4, 2019, about one month ago. Ever since I sent the feedback to him, I have been in contact with him privately to guide him on effective diabetic management strategies closely so that I can help him manage his blood glucose better which was about 16 mmol/L at the beginning of the monitoring plan. At some point within the monitoring phase, his blood glucose read 18.7 and 20.7 mmol/L for fasting and 2 hr after meal respectively. To cut the long story short, his fasting blood glucose gradually began to drop to 10.7, 7.5, 6.5 mmol/L and he recorded a fasting blood glucose of 4.7 mmol/L today. This is truly great!
This patient has successfully moved to the next level. He had discontinued taking his diabetic medication since April, 2020 and his blood sugar tests have been within the normal range.

SUCCESS STORY 010: 30.09.2020
We record yet another success story from a type 2 diabetic who was recently diagnosed on 22 August, 2020. Upon diagnosis, his HbA1c was 10.8 % (up to 6 % is the normal range) and FBS (fasting blood sugar) was 21.6 mmol/L (388 mg/dL).
He was injected with 10 units of insulin which brought down the sugar level to 13.3 mmol/L (240 mg/dL). He was placed on Metformin (Glucophage) 1500 mg daily (i.e. 3 tablets daily, TDS) and 2 tablets (60 mg each) of Diamicron daily.
His FBS shoot again in the following morning to 21.9 mmol/L (394 mg/dL) despite the above therapeutic interventions. We intervened at this point, evaluated his meals, and advised him to follow a strict dietary plan which we proposed for him in addition to doing a regular workout daily and 5-point (FBS, pre- and post-prandial tests during lunch and dinner) daily blood sugar tests. This simple, yet, very important intervention helped to bring his FBS to a value that is less than 11.1 mmol/L (200 mg/dL) in just one day.
Within a few days of commencing the medication, he developed a blurry vision that saw him using a medicated glass.
Exactly 24 days (15 September 2020) after the initial diagnosis and commencement of treatment, we reviewed his daily blood sugar tests which fell within the normal ranges and advised him to discontinue all the medications but maintain his strict diet, workout and 5-point daily blood sugar tests.
Since then, his daily blood sugar tests have been within normal limits. For instance, his FBS readings range from 5.4 mmol/L (98 mg/dL) to 6.2 mmol/L (111 mg/dL). He stopped using the medicated glass because he can now see clearly, no more blurry vision and he lost 1 kg within this period. By and large, he informed me that he feels extremely healthier and happier.
The main key here is DISCIPLINE. If you are disciplined, no matter how bad your sugar level is, you can bring it down in no time and may reach a point that you don’t need to take any diabetic medication at all. This will go a long way to help you reverse any diabetic complications such as eye and limb problems or even infertility. You should know that diabetes causes infertility in both men and women. You are what you eat – eat nutritious foods and enjoy a healthy life or eat junk foods and become a potential patient of chronic and fatal diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease. Choose wisely!
